Scott Thomas
Scott entered the field in 2004 as a Senior Customer Support Specialist with Turning Technologies, developers of the TurningPoint audience response system . His responsibilities included deploying the audience response software in new and creative ways, troubleshooting client issues and weighing in on the development of new software features. If something goes wrong with the software, not only has he seen it, but he can fix it in a hurry.
In late 2006, Scott signed on as a Project Manager for a full-service audio visual consulting and production company. He has worked extensively both domestically and abroad. He is a top-notch audience response system operator and ARS question designer. His experience working at a wide range of meeting types (speaker training / symposium / advisory board / award show) and with challenging clients is one of his greatest assets. You can count on him to keep his cool and adapt to changes right down to the second your event begins.
He has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and currently resides in Portland, OR.
When he is not editing slides, setting up venues or working side-by-side with meeting planners,, Scott can be found riding his bicycle or playing pub trivia.
Dennis Thomas
Dennis has been an audio engineer for roughly eight years. His interest in audio engineering began as a musician recording in a studio setting, then quickly branched off to live sound reinforcement. His passion for audio production took him to New York to study and eventually teach at SAE Institute. There, he worked with a large variety of content from live sound production to audio post production.
In 2007, he returned to Ohio to start his own live sound production company producing a wide range of content including live music, corporate meetings, political rallies and meetings, and other private events.
Today Dennis is well versed in every aspect of live sound production, from planning and operating a system, recording live content, and post production editing. His vast range of experience in fast-paced settings can assure the highest level of performance, attention to detail, and troubleshooting abilities to create a seamless production.
Dennis currently resides in Youngstown, Ohio. He is a performing musician, and enjoys being active in the Youngstown arts community.
